foodora - bringing good food into your everyday!

foodora is a Berlin-based food delivery service that partners exclusively with beloved local restaurants to deliver quality meals in over 50 cities worldwide. We know the best that our cities offer and we’re bringing it online, enabling our customers to order their favorite food through our app (for iOS or Android) or web portal. We provide our restaurant-partners with an on-demand fleet of bicycle couriers, making it simple for customers around the world to access delicious meals.  

We are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Trainee (m/f) for our Berlin HQ

Responsibilities 

  • Being a member of the data-team, you will be working in a cross-discipline, full stack delivery team focused on one of many core business objectives (such as BI, CRM, Operations). You'll gain experience in the following areas:
  • Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing programs & scripts, calling APIs, writing SQL queries etc.).
  • Work closely with our other engineers and data scientists to integrate algorithms into our production systems.
  • Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis, automate the analysis and make the results available.
  • We use PostgreSQL, Python for Extract/Load, and already working on Map Reduce and Machine Learning solutions (with Spark/MLib).
  • Requirements 

  • You have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • You find creative solutions to tough problems.
  • Ideally some knowledge of Python and SQL, but we are open to other experience if you’re willing to learn the languages we use.
  • English language skills required. German language skills are beneficial but not required.

    We’re looking for a Global Venture Development Strategist (mf)  for our Berlin HQ!

    Responsibilities :

  • Work directly with the Global VP Sales and help drive the overall foodora/foodpanda sales strategy
  • Develop analytical frameworks to identify, develop, and drive the adoption of standard methodologies for the long-term growth of the global sales organization across all markets

    Deine Aufgaben

  • Du kümmerst dich um das Onboarding von neuen Restaurants und erklärst ihnen wie alles funktioniert
  • Du gibst den Restaurants regelmäßig Feedback und überlegst mit ihnen gemeinsam wie foodora ihr Marketing unterstützen kann
  • Des Weiteren bist Du für die Betreuung unserer Restaurantpartner per Telefon verantwortlich und gehst somit unseren Key Account Management Teams zur Hand
  • Außerdem unterstützt du unser Content Team und kümmerst dich darum, dass alle Menükarten aktuell sind
  • Deine Qualifikationen

  • Dir ist es wichtig, dass unsere Restaurants glücklich sind
  • Du gehst gerne auf Menschen zu und Du bist ein Kommunikationstalent und kannst auch kompliziertere Anliegen gut erklären 
  • Du bist freundlich, emphatisch und hast immer ein offenes Ohr

    Responsibilities

    As foodora continues to build on its successful operations in Frankfurt, we are looking to hire a Junior Key Account Manager that is going to take our restaurant partnerships to the next level through their exceptional customer-service, sales and marketing skills. Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Building solid relationships with our existing restaurant partners by being their main point of contact, identifying and implementing newer value-add initiatives and being proactive in finding solutions for them.
  • Being responsible for driving incremental orders by helping our partners to create a better customer experience. This could include: helping to train restaurant staff, collaborating with operations to improve menu displays and prices and working with our in-house marketing team to create promotions.
  • Ensuring partnership retention through exceptional customer service and willingness to keep going the extra mile.
  • This role requires a unique blend of sales, marketing and relationship management

  • Requirements

  • Ideally some experience in sales, marketing or account management 
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Available for at least 3 - 6 months for an internship
  • The exceptional ability to develop, foster and nurture premium relationships
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, evolving environment.  
  • You’re a self-starter. You can wake up and make your own plan for the day that just seems to make sense

    Responsibilities:

  • To make sure our orders pass through well you will assist our riders in various situations
  • Process optimisation is your topic! You detect potential for improvement and discuss it with your team
  • You support our dispatching team with the rider management. You are the connection between couriers, cities and headquarter during the daily business
  • Our team will support you in the best possible way
  • Requirements:

  • You are enrolled in a college or an university
  • It is not a problem for you to work with a team and independent
