We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our Learning & Development Team in London! The best fit for this role will be someone who has excellent organisational skills and prides themselves on attention to detail.  You are upbeat, approachable and a go-to person who keeps things running smoothly. You have impressive communication skills, you’re excited to contribute to Houzz’s awesome office culture, and you’re passionate about creating a positive impact on the people around you.

What You’ll Do
  • The primary function of the role is to support with organising training classes, managing the online training calendar and get materials ready before a class.
  • You will help to create a professional, positive, warm and welcoming office environment for Houzz employees that is in line with our culture and values.
  • Communication is key! You will serve as a liaison between the trainers and recruiters with candidates in the hiring process, and you will be responsible for sharing details of which trainings are happening, when and where.
  • You will have an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of learning and development, how curriculums are structured and delivered, and how we engage adult learners by making it fun!
  • We mostly support the sales teams so you’ll get the chance to be involved in sales training and organising team competitions.
  • From time to time you may assist with travel logistics and coordination
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities as needed
  • At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fluid startup environment
  • Impressive interpersonal skills - a people person with a cheerful and fun attitude
  • Proactive and solutions-focused
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • A curious mind - you’re happy to ask clarifying questions and enjoy learning
  • Ideally, You’ll Also Have
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Hangouts, Sheets etc.) and MacBooks
