Houzz, the largest home and design community in the world, is looking for a paid Translator/Content Writer Intern to join the Houzz European Marketplace Localization Team. The top candidates are prepared to work in a fast-paced environment where they will transcreate and copywrite, as well as review translated English content produced by our network of freelancers.

The source content for our E-commerce site will be provided by brands and vendors in Italian, French, Swedish, Danish, Spanish and English. The internship is for a duration of 6 months and can be either full-time or part-time.

Position Responsibilities:

Review and QA check translated content in English, making sure they adhere to Houzz style guidelines

Translate/copywrite content provided by European vendors for products aimed to be sold on the British market

Assist with admin and recruiting tasks

Requirements:

English native speaker, fluent in one or more of the following languages is a plus: Italian, French, Swedish, Danish, English and Spanish

Graduated or is enrolled in an international school of translation and interpreting in one of the above-mentioned languages

Familiar with Google Drive - especially Google Sheets

Social network and tech-savvy

Highly detail-oriented and accurate: doesn’t miss the details and doesn't drop the ball with their task

Any e-commerce experience is a plus
