We are looking for a person who will join the Innovation Team with a focus on Paper in the Brand & Innovation Department in our office. This role reports to the Innovation Paper Manager

Scope of the role:

Create: Design thinking and facilitation of collaborative ideation is at the heart of this role, offering a diverse and challenging blend of innovative thinking and intelligence to “connect the dots” while fostering an environment of engagement, openness and creativity.

Grow: Develop and implement strategies around the paper category to support the company financial goals and brand vision.

Source: Identify new paper opportunities within global or local relevance. Scout new opportunities, assessing paper market, competitors as well as new global consumer trends and adjacent solutions, to study and identify new market prospects within paper category.

Coordinate: Follow appropriate timing and action calendars for products, sales, marketing, design, and production for the timely receipt and to ensure a seamless workflow. This role requires the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be total owner of product lifecycle: create the ideation, planning, development and launch of paper product innovations following each step, from brief to launch producing and following intricate project level timeline.

• Guide the product strategy and roadmap for cross-functional teams, with a particular focus on prioritizing product and feature development against business objectives, timelines, and available resources.

• Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth. Partner with design counterparts to turn complex product requirements into attainable executions.

• Partner with cross-functional leaders to deliver best-in-class product ideations and experiences efficiently and effectively.

• Improve product development process structure and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

Strong bi-lingual communication skills of English and Mandarin (mandatory)

minimum 3 years of experiences in the product marketing/innovation departments

Global mindset with close familiarity of influencing trends, news and events in China and Asia-Pacific.

 Strong enthusiasm/passion for the brand, product, and design thinking.

Pulse on global market trends with strong analytical mindset and customer centric mindset.

Very strong excel and presentation skills. High attention to details.

Ability to think strategically around building ideas, not just features, and being able to balance quick wins with big bets that align with company long-term vision.

 Results oriented, organized, and self-motivating. Ability to act independently respecting company policies, guidelines, and strategies.

Great interpersonal skills. Capable of building strong working relationships and influencing internal teams.

Willingness to challenge status quo methods and ability to work well under pressure.

Knowledge of product innovation and creation process is essential.

Previous experience in an identical environment would be a plus.
