As a web developer at MoneyFarm you will work on a pure-javascript web stack. You will work as part of a technology team which works to ensure that our architecture is highly testable and that every step of our process is repeatable and automated.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop code for new features and products
- Write automated tests
- Take an active role in evolving our web architecture
- Work as part of a scrum team, helping the team to analyse and plan
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Javascript and modern web frameworks - Angular, React etc.
- HTML, CSS
- Node.js development
- Javascript testing frameworks - jasmine, mocha etc.
- Exposure to grunt
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master degree or PhD
- Financial services experience (front- or back-office)
- Node.js MVC frameworks - sails.js, express etc.
- Typescript
- NoSQL - MongoDB, Redis etc.
- Scrum, user stories and iterative development
