Description
ROLE:For increasing our Firmware development team in Florence, we are looking for candidates with experience in linux embedded systems and in C\C++ development languages.
The following are the task in which the candidate will be involved:
- Interact and collaborate with the other team members and the other colleagues
- Design and implement embedded software which will run in our products
- Develop linux kernel driver
- Create and build recipes for Yocto
REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate should be able to use GIT as version control system and use git flow to work in the projects in which he will be involved.
The ideal candidate should be proficient with the following languages\technologies:
C
C++
Linux kernel (EMBEDDED)
- Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies would be an advantage:
GLib
Qt
Yocto
GStreamer
- A knowledge of network protocols and communications is also desiderable.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, electrical engineering
- A master's degree is definitely a plus. A combination of hardware and software skills would be a great advantage.
The environment is dynamic, fast-paced and requires a self-starter attitude.
Good communication skills in English, written and spoken
