Senior Data Engineer


 


Location Qualifications: Wroclaw (hybrid)


 


Position Overview


As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll be joining our Data Platform team within the data world, alongside with Data Science, Analytical Enablement and Reporting teams. In this team, you’ll have the opportunity to improve our data platform, allowing our internal customers to easily consume qualitative data, therefore creating a data-driven environment.


 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Build, maintain, and optimize our cloud-based data infrastructure
  • Build data integration workflows between various systems to provide business insights
  • Lead and coordinate initiatives within the team or across data teams
  • Identify and implement best practices for data management, data quality, and data governance, including security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Act as a mentor towards team members, promoting best practices

 


Minimum Requirements


 


Non-technical skills:


  • Strong experience as a data engineer, with a proven track record of designing and building scalable data solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas to gather feedback

Technical skills:


  • Strong Cloud knowledge including infrastructure as code, ideally in AWS
  • Experience with using DBT for data modeling and transformations
  • Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript and SQL
  • Experience of CI/CD and software engineering best practice
