Were the chosen brand for accomplished climbers, mountaineers, skiers and snowboarders, and now we’re looking for a Store Manager for our new outlet in Bicester Village- someone with passion, knowledge and enthusiasm to bring our brand to life. 


You will maintain overall responsibility of the store, to create the highest standards within store thus creating a memorable shopping experience. You will manage the store efficiently within present budget guidelines and maximize profit performance by achieving sales targets and controlling costs. You will also ensure that the brand and its product are portrayed at the highest standard.


Job Duties:

  • To recruit competent staff who represent the brand and its image while maintaining quality communication skills to ensure excellent customer service. 
  • To build a team that individually as well as collectively fully inherits the true meaning of the brand, fully understands company policy & procedure, and in turn creates a store of excellence for the customer to shop in. 
  • Responsible for ensuring that all products are displayed to the company standard and that attention to detail is maintained at all times. Ensure that all new lines are merchandised on the shop floor within 24 hours of receiving shipment. 
  • Responsible for carrying out all staff appraisals and counselling/disciplinary procedures as laid out in the employee handbook in conjunction with conversations with your HR representative. 
  • Responsible for ensuring that all health & safety requirements (risk assessments) are carried out & maintained as in the company guidelines and that the store is operated as a safe working environment. 
  • As the main key holder you are responsible for security of the staff, stock, and all company monies & premises, and must observe all company policies. 
  • Ensure all company administration is kept up-to-date and relevant information is passed on to head office on time. 
  • Ensure all deliveries are unloaded, checked off and transferred to the sales floor quickly and efficiently and that all relevant paperwork (discrepancies) are recorded on appropriate paperwork and e-mailed to head office, then filed away in the filing system for easy retrieval. 
  • Must have thorough knowledge of stock and all aspects of running the store from register operation to stock replenishment and petty cash purchases. Ensure all staff uses their own personal pin number when operating the register. 
  • Develop then implement a suitable internal communications strategy so that all staff are aware of new company products, policies, newsletters memos etc.
