AML Investigator

Description

We’re looking for an AML Investigator to join our growing AML Investigation team in São Paulo. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on TransferWise’s mission, grow as a specialist in anti-money laundering and help save millions more people money.

Your mission: 

TransferWise has already pioneered new ways for people to transfer money across borders and currencies. Our customers can also manage their hard-earned money with the world’s first platform to offer true multi-currency banking. Your mission is to protect customers and TransferWise by investigating and reporting suspicious activity.

Here’s how you’ll be contributing to AML Investigation Team:

• Monitor our global customer base and investigate suspicious activity
• Report suspicious activity to the regulator 
• Participate in developing new monitoring rules
• Other ad hoc duties that need to be done

About you: 

• You’re legally authorised to work in Brazil
• You have excellent verbal and written Portuguese and English skills
• You have at least 1 year experience in AML and reporting suspicious activity to COAF
• You have a curious mind and desire to investigate
• You can multitask and take charge in different situations
• You’re flexible and have a razor sharp attention to detail
• You have a Bachelor's degree
