Our design mission
As marketing designers at TransferWise, our mission is always part marketing, part education. TransferWise has a powerful value proposition – we make it cheaper to send money abroad – but it can be a challenge to communicate. So we’re forever finding new ways to teach people about things like exchange rates, hidden fees, why international finance is traditionally unfair, why we’re just as safe as a bank, and plenty else.
We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer (Marketing)
We’re building organic growth products at a dizzying pace. These include the virality program invite page, emails, and other assets; campaign and SEO landing pages; price comparison widgets; blogs; currency converters; and other mini-sites. You’d be working on the UX/UI of these projects, and your overall goal would be to help potential customers understand how we’re better than banks for sending, spending, and receiving money abroad (ie, we’re cheaper, more convenient, have better customer service, etc.).
Even though your focus will be acquisition projects, you’ll be a part of the larger design team. You’ll collaborate with brand designers, UX researchers and copywriters to create great digital campaigns.
On any given day, you might:
Work on customer acquisition projects for the existing money transfer product, the new TransferWise borderless account and TransferWise for Business.
Create new ways for people to discover TransferWise, and use data and research to make the existing ways even better.
Generate concepts from sketches to prototypes, and make data-driven decisions informed by user testing and other design research.
Collaborate with Product Managers to understand problems and define solutions.
Work with developers to iterate, polish and ship.
Collaborate with UX Researchers and Copywriters on the content and information architecture of new landing pages.
Help marketing teams understand and appreciate the impact of great design and how to make it happen.

You’re passionate about building a strong, accessible brand for a global audience.

You’re a clear, pragmatic communicator who’s able to give and take feedback.
You have the resilience to handle requests from multiple teams, and you know how to build a process to manage them.
It’d be extra nice if you had some front-end coding skills, but it’s not obligatory.

Those are some big numbers, but so far we’re only dealing with 1% of all the money moving around the world. There’s so much more to do, and so many more people to reach.
