To support Trustpilot’s rapid expansion, we’re looking for a talented Head of HR to join our Global People team. The Head of HR UK/AUS will act as a senior HR partner for all stakeholders within the geography to ensure a smooth delivery of the HR operations as well as the implementation of strategic HR imperatives. This will be part of the HR Leadership team and will take part in building & delivering the Global People Strategic Agenda. The role is based in London (approximately 20% Travel) reporting to our CHRO.


The Role


  •    Proactively and strategically work as a business partner to support key stakeholders across the UK/AUS business, building up strong working relationships.
  •    Partner with senior leaders to fast-track development of strong leadership capability at all levels of the UK/AUS business
  •    Global accountability for a strategic priority area as agreed by People Leadership Team and ELT (e.g. IPO Readiness)
  •    Global Business Partnering for ELT members (Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Communications Officer)  
  •    Overall responsibility for HR operations in the UK/Australia and ensuring that we are fully compliant with local legislation/regulations.
  •    Collaborate on operational execution with the HR Operation Specialist (indirect report based in Copenhagen)
  •    Successful execution of all complex Employee Relations matters
  •    Member of Trustpilot Global Leadership Group
  •    Productive and effective collaboration with Head of HR CEU/Head of HR US & Head of Talent Acquisition UK/AUS.

Knowledge, experience & capabilities Required


Critical knowledge


  •    Strong knowledge in HR best practices in more particularly in Talent Development, Compensation & Benefits, Leadership Development, Diversity & Inclusion or Organisational Development
  •    Strong understanding of UK employment law and beneficial Australian law as well

Critical experience


  •    Strong experience in business partnering with senior stakeholders
  •    UK-based HR experience
  •    Proven track record in Commercial environment
  •    Experience in tech scale-up not a must-have, but will be an advantage
  •    Has already been part of an IPO Process and understand the steps that need to be undertaken from an HR perspective
  •    Successful track record collaborating across a global organisation

  •    Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with people of all levels. Natural ability to build trusting partnerships.
  •    Excellent analytical, problem solving, judgment and decision-making skills
  •    Strategic thinking, with the ability to translate strategic goals and concepts into action plans and implement initiatives at an operational level
  •    Ability to prioritise effectively even under pressure – strong project management skills
  •    Strong influencing skills
  •    Flexible and adaptable to change
  •    Personal gravitas - ability to articulate thought process with conviction, back up own ideas with solid numbers, and don’t shy away from debating the best course of action for the business
  • Strong business acumen
