As our Privacy Counsel you will be responsible for supporting our community (both companies and users) in regards to privacy and data protection. You will be part of the Privacy Team based in Vilnius, but also have a close relationship with the Governance Team, Information Security and the Legal Team. You will be based in our Vilnius office and will be reporting to the Head of the Privacy Team.  

The role will be working closely with many different departments stakeholders and implementing  cross-functional initiatives across the business involving a variety of privacy issues.

• Work independently with daily written communication and support to all Trustpilot’s users (consumers and businesses) regarding privacy matters.
• Assist our Commercial teams with answering privacy and security-related legal matters and questions from customers, partners etc., including providing assistance with filling out Security questionnaires of our customers.
• Help negotiate data processing agreements and other privacy related questions from our customers.
• Support the Q&C and Support teams on privacy and security-related legal matters.
• Helping improve and maintain our model answers and compliance-related content for communicating with our community.
• Assist with building policies and procedures related to data protection, including subject access requests, right to information etc.

• Excellent written language skills in English
• Preferably a minimum of 1 years’ experience with data protection legislation and knowledge about GDPR
• Previous experience within a support role or a compliance role
• Good understanding of quality & compliance operations and processes
• Excellent written communication skills, and an ability to understand the nuances of communicating with businesses and consumers
• Able to work independently and juggle multiple tasks at once
• A proactive approach to task and issue handling
