Trustpilot is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Leader to join our New Business division based in Trustpilot Headquarters in central Copenhagen. This is a high-profile leadership opportunity with huge scope to take over a top performing, highly profitable team in our ever-expanding organisation whilst expanding into new markets.                                


The role


The position as Senior Sales Director within Trustpilot is a high-profile role where you will be part of driving the global success story and on a local basis be responsible for nurturing a best in-class sales team. You will directly manage both the personnel and overall direction of this sales team.


You will inspire and establish an engaging atmosphere while ensuring that we meet and exceed targets in the European markets in an intelligent and effective way. We are looking for a Sales Leader who comes from a new-business background, with a demonstrable track record in growing teams whilst maintaining maximum output per team member.                   


What you’ll do:                                                                    


  • Create an environment of success through coaching, directing and leading by example.
  • Full employee lifecycle management (e.g. 1:1 meetings with team members, career development planning, recruitment, etc.)
  • Understand industry drivers and buying motivations for segments, and effectively implement strategies for targeting business verticals in European markets.
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales CEU as well as the Sales Training Team to foster innovation and push boundaries of success.

You must be comfortable in an early to mid-stage company where you will both shape and act on all that is needed to make you successful. That includes being okay with things that break and working with people that love to find the appropriate solution, all while driving your team to higher levels of success.


What requirements you will have to excel in this role:


  • 5 to 8 years of experience as a people manager/sales leader for outbound sales teams, ideally on an international / multi dialect sales floor.
  • Ability to coach and develop a sales team on all aspects of a sales process - from lead generation to pipe development and closing business.
  • Ability to create a positive, driven sales culture and ensure continuous development of New Business Sales processes.
  • Successful track record in growing sales revenue.
  • Weekly forecasting and reporting to VP of Sales CEU.
  • Great understanding of selling to SMB’s as well as Enterprise Solution selling processes as your team will do both.
  • Strong and successful proven track record, preferably within a fast-paced Tech Start-Up environment.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a precondition and excellent command of either French, Italian or Dutch will be considered a clear advantage.
