Full Stack Developer (Remote Working)

We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Developer passionate of web technologies to join the team in Italy. 

About BEE 

BEE - a business unit of MailUp Group - provides best-in-class tools for designing emails and landing pages, online at beefree.io and embeddable in SaaS applications. BEE stands for "Best Email Editor," and that's the ambitious goal chosen for this project. Made with lots of passion between the United States and Italy, BEE is becoming a standard for email creation. The editor is used by hundreds of thousands of people every month at beefree.io and embedded in over 500 SaaS applications. 

Your impact As a Full Stack Developer, you will report to the Senior Development Manager in the Development Team. You will be focused on the development and maintenance of the BEE product and related services. 

Your core responsibilities will be: 

• Work on the maintenance and expansion of all the services connected to the BEE editor. 
• Participate in the analysis and development of appropriate solutions to respond to customer needs on a specific roadmap. 
• Be focused on making the implemented solutions modular, reusable and scalable, frequently comparing them with the team that is responsible for the development of BEE "core" modules 
• Work with different programming languages and with different technology stacks 
• Collaborate with other Group teams supporting them in QA activities, second level support tickets, technical documentation, creation of sample code, etc.

Technical qualifications 

• knowledge of Javascript (ES6, ES7 ES8, ES9, ES10), TypeScript, React 
• knowledge of Python 2 and 3, Nodejs 
• Excellent knowledge of Database: PostgreSQL 
• knowledge of AWS services, including:  ○ Lambda, API Gateway, Cloud Formation, S3, Route 53 
• knowledge of Linux OS 
• Excellent REST API knowledge 

Nice to have 

• Good knowledge of javascript modules 
• Knowledge of the Django Web Framework 
• Knowledge in writing unit tests and end-to-end tests 
• Experience in drafting technical documentation 
• Knowledge of: Redux and Redux Thunk, CSS, Angularjs, SPA application. 

Location & Travel 

• Remote and we may ask you to join us in Cremona for in-person sessions from time to time 
• Some travel will be required for our yearly team retreat(s). Between travel and meeting time, the retreat typically requires about a week of your time. In 2019 we had one retreat in early June. In 2020 we may have two: one in the early summer and another (shorter) in the winter. We will provide ample notice so that you can plan for it.
