About the Role
Houzz is looking for an adaptable and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to help shape our growing organization. You will share our company's story, vision, culture and technology with top talent eager to help transform the home design and remodeling industry. You will leverage your recruitment instincts in attracting the best talent and closing the deal as we rapidly grow to meet the demands of our user base. The best fit for this role will be someone who seeks out opportunities to build, create and own the recruiting and coordination process. You can work closely with cross-functional partners  and you thrive in an ever-evolving environment.
What You'll Do
  • Schedule your own and team member phone and on-site interviews as Recruiting Coordinator 
  • Source and screen both active and passive candidates for yourself and for other team members
  • Recruit candidates by utilizing internal databases, LinkedIn, job boards, social media, etc.
  • Manage and update internal Applicant Tracking System with accuracy and integrity
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for ongoing hires
  • Aid the Internal Recruitment Team when needed
  • Work with candidates throughout the entirety of their interview experience with Houzz
  • Assist with delivering and negotiating job offers or rejections to candidates
  • At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have
  • A “can do” attitude
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Exceptional communication and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in using G-suite applications (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Hangouts, etc.) and MacBooks
  • Ideally, You'll Also Have
  • At least 1+ years of experience in an admin/support function; corporate recruiting experience is a plus
  • A Bachelor’s degree 
  • Experience using multiple sourcing channels to identify high caliber candidates 
  • A demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in recruiting/HR
