Description
The Role:We are more than a support team. We enable the rapid but sustainable growth of Personio and ensure the financial health and legal stability of the organization. This is an overview of the responsibilities of the role:
- Manage projects to optimize financial business processes and IT system landscape (e.g. invoice approval software, subscribe-to-pay process) including
- Map and analyze all financial processes and identify improvement and automation potentials
- Identify projects to further scale finance IT systems and existing business processes to enable further growth of the company
- Drive continuous process improvement and take responsibility for the introduction of new processes and finance IT tools
- Organize the project management for major internal and cross-functional Finance projects
- Collaborate with business partners and software providers to drive improvements into the entire organization
- Develop and measure KPIs to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the day-to-day operations in the Finance department
Conduct trainings to ensure that new processes and tools are used uniformly and effectively throughout the department and entire company
What you need to succeed:
- You have a successful degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics or alike with major in accounting, finance or controlling
- You have 4+ years of experience in finance and process management, preferably with a tax/accounting firm, management consultancy or in a similar role within a dynamic tech (start-up) company
- You have profound experience in implementing ERP systems such as Sage, MS Navision, Oracle NetSuite or SAP Business One
- You have excellent project management and communication skills
- You have very good knowledge of MS Office or Google Suite and preferably solid experience with VBA, Google Script or SQL
- You have strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset with the ambition for precision
- You have excellent written and spoken English skills, good knowledge of German would be a plus
- Your experience in a rapidly growing start-up environment or similar business environment (SaaS) would be beneficial
