We’re looking for product-minded engineers to join the DoveConviene team in Bologna. As a Front-End Engineer your role is to develop new user interface features for DoveConviene’s web properties and backoffice tools. You will partner with Product Management, Marketing and UX design teams to create phenomenal web experiences using HTML/CSS/JavaScript technologies. You can count on being involved in all aspects of development — and use creative thinking for innovative solutions.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Your main duties will be:
• Design and implement new features in DoveConviene’s products
• Write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly
• Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale
WHAT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE SELECTION?
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years professional experience in software or web development and JavaScript development
• Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity
• Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and performance optimization techniques
• Proficiency using modern web development technologies and techniques, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive Design, web services, web workers, etc.
• Experience developing AJAX interfaces with modern libraries, frameworks and tools (e.g. ReactJS, JQuery, AngularJS, Backbone, Underscore, RequireJS, Bower, Grunt, etc.)
• Experience with testing via technologies like Jasmine, QUNIT, Mocha
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Self disciplined and responsible
• Excellent verbal and written skills
