We’re looking for product-minded engineers to join the DoveConviene team in Bologna. In the role of QA Lead Engineer, you will play a critical part in helping drive a continued focus on quality on our grants management products. Your priorities will shift between release regression testing, test case writing, automation development and new feature review, testing and documentation.

Your main duties will be:

Work closely with product and engineering teams to help define testing procedures

Participate in product development planning sessions, delineate testing plans and define/create test cases

Maintain and write test cases for the QA Automated test suite

Document bugs and feature requests in our bug database, and participate in triages as necessary

Execute functionality, compatibility, usability, and regression tests across the product suite

Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.

Research and suggest innovations to our existing and future QA environments

Requirements

Experience testing on multiple platforms and devices (iOS, Android, Web)

Ability to create scripts from scratch in at least one language

Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full product development life cycle, including coding standards code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements and describe software product features and technical designs.

Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Previous experience with BDD is a very welcome plus
