Financial Accountant

As a Financial Accountant, you'll report directly to the CFO and be primarily responsible for producing accurate and timely monthly management reports as well as involved in all commercial and operational aspects of the finance team. Our company is growing quickly, and we’re focussed on building a top-notch finance function to support, help scale and accelerate this growth.

You will have full ownership of the monthly management process, including revenue recognition calculations, month end journals, consolidation of subsidiary accounts and reporting on variances.

You will also be responsible for coordinating our external annual audit, ensuring all statutory and regulatory financial statements are submitted accurately and according to deadlines.

The role will require a proactive approach and you will be expected to continually review and improve reporting processes and procedures.

You are:

• A fully qualified accountant.
• Early in your career with 2-3 years experience in a similar position.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
• Organised, methodical and proactive.
• Someone who likes to work independently, as well as with a team.

You have:

• Excellent numeracy and excel skills.
• A great eye for detail and zero tolerance for mistakes.
• A sense of perspective - you understand where issues sit within the bigger picture.
• A positive, can-do attitude.

Helpful:

• Previous experience in a SAAS business.
