For this challenge we are currently offering a position as:

Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d) for our Marketing Technology Team

Our Marketing technology team is made up of product managers, data scientists, data engineers and software engineers working together with the vision of attracting the relevant customers for home24 and ensuring their retention. As a software engineer your contribution will enable home24 to build innovative, automated, scalable and data-driven Growth and Digital Marketing solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• You design, build features and refactor code ensuring best-in-class product development
• You test and Review your peers’ code to ensure quality
• You take ownership and accountability for the product development
• You are ready and excited to take on learning new skills, programming languages and tools as our product develops
• You proactively provide input which shapes the roadmap

Your Profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related area
• Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Scala, Java
• Very Strong SQL and data modelling knowledge
• Experience or knowledge of how a modern Data system is built and operates
• Demonstrated understanding of Growth and Marketing and how it impacts Acquisition, Conversion and Retention of customers
• Experience working on projects using Google Marketing Platform, especially Tag Manager and Analytics
• Experience with AWS services
• Experience with Spark or a similar framework
