HotelTonight makes it remarkably easy to book great hotels at amazing rates, for tonight, tomorrow and beyond. Our goal is to be the premier and most loved way to book a place to stay and we’re looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to help do just that.

The Senior FP&A Analyst will be the third member of a small but influential and growing FP&A team. You will own all budgeting and forecasting for all business expenses and operating costs for multiple departments across the business. You will get exposure to the inner workings of the entire HT business while interacting directly with HT management to help them make strategic, operational, and tactical decisions.

WITHIN 1 MONTH YOU WILL:

Understand what makes the HotelTonight business model tick

Learn the overall forecasting methodology

Meet all the awesome people you will be working with

WITHIN 3 MONTHS YOU WILL:

Have a firm grasp on the org structure and where key information is located

Go in-depth on Adaptive Insights for expense forecasting

Understand the reporting cadence

Run monthly meetings with department budget owners, including the CFO, VP Controller, and Head of Customer Experience

WITHIN 12 MONTHS YOU WILL:

Be the go to person for any expense forecasting questions

Be an Adaptive Insights master

Drive decision making with in-depth but simple to understand analysis

Prepare board decks to tell the story of how great HotelTonight is doing financially and overall

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

4-5 years of relevant FP&A experience (FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking)

Ability and experience working in financial planning systems and understanding their structure (Adaptive, Netsuite, Essbase)

Experience managing OPEX for multiple departments

Ability to work well cross-functionally, boiling down complicated financial models into easy to understand terms (and vice-versa, asking the right questions to gather data for models)

Love to learn and question while digging into the details
