At the moment we’re looking for an Accounting Manager for Reconciliation to join our Accounting team. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the team and the day to day bank account reconciliation process. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right mix of skills and attitude to empower the quickest international money transfers worldwide.

You will need to understand the end to end money flow cycle for the customer transactions to fully reconcile a number of bank accounts, pay-out partners, and currency conversions. This position gives an amazing opportunity to apply your ideas of improving, streamlining, and automating our reconciliation processes by working directly with the finance team members and other stakeholders.

You’ll report to Gedmina Rumsiene, our Financial Controller.

Here's what you'll be doing as Accounting Manager for Reconciliation:

• Manage the bank accounts reconciliation process
• Support month-end and year-end close, prepare and post Management Accounts journals
• Assist in the global statutory audit process
• Oversee data importing processes from external platforms into cloud applications for reconciliation purposes
• Ensure balances are posted correctly and match internal and external records
• Research and reconcile missing payments, take action to eliminate/prevent them from occurring in the future
• Summarise and communicate the root causes of reconciliation problems to reduce the likelihood of such repeated events
• Develop and implement solutions to eliminate systemic reconciliation causes
• Identify tools and areas where process improvements and efficiencies may be achievable
• Lead, develop and grow the team of reconciliation specialists

Requirements

Here’s what we’d love from our new Accounting Manager - Reconciliation:

• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Data Management
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Ability to think “outside the box” and find the best solutions
• Stakeholder management skills and ability to work with other operational departments
• A proactive approach to process improvements
• Ability to work on complex tasks with minimal supervision
• Fluent and effective oral and written communication skills in English
• Some management experience, working one on one or with a small team

Monthly salary from 2570 € to 3470 € (gross) depending on the level of experience.
