Job purpose :
We’re looking for an outstanding Data Scientist to join our growing Data team. We seek a talented candidate who can help us understanding customer characteristics and behaviors so that we can always improve the service we offer. 


We are a data driven company and every decision is based on numbers. In the next months, we want to focus even more on this part of the business by building several machine learning applications which will allow us to better predict the business results, improve unit economics and be ready for new challenges.   

 

The candidate will strategically support the company’s development and provide actionable insights to the Product Management and Digital Marketing teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Painlessly and securely manipulate large and complex relational datasets
  • Design, build and implement machine learning models (i.e. classification,prediction,...)
  • Develop new practices to aid in the growth of data informed strategic developments
  • Present findings to various business stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of how product and platforms influence user behavior
  • Support customer growth by designing and performing ad hoc analyses across business areas from multiple data sources
  • Extract and analyze data, form hypothesis, conduct AB tests and deliver actionable insights based on your analysis that will enable stakeholders to take product development decisions

  • Requirements:

  • Very good SQL knowledge
  • Very good R and or Python
  • Enough curiosity to try things that aren’t taught at school, but enough pragmatism to not waste time on futile stuff
  • The desire to build things that are beautiful, robust, and scale
  • Working knowledge of Hadoop as a big plus.
  • Previous digital analytics experience with industry standard web analytics toolsets (e.g. Google Analytics, Adwords, Mixpanel, Heap, etc.)
  • You possess statistical competence (such as regression modeling, a/b testing, significance testing etc)
  • Exceptional analytical attitude and outstanding organizational skills
  • Previous working experience with other e-commerce businesses
  • Full proficiency in English, which is the official working language of the company
  • Italian proficiency a plus but not required (thanks to the international work environment in the office)

  • Online Marketing Intern

    Job purpose :

    We’re looking for a junior online marketing specialist to join our online marketing department. 

    This role focuses on creation, optimisation and analysis of online marketing campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social and other strategic channels, relying on both strong analytical competences and creative approach. You will be working within a 6 people team in order to execute the biddable media strategy. Furthermore you'll be the main reference for our strategic partners in order to plan, execute and report on media plans and co-marketing activities.


    Key Responsabilities

  • Manage co-marketing activities with key suppliers and commercial partners 
  • Be responsible for campaigns’ activation, optimization and reporting on AdWords, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube 
  • Use of 3 rd party bid management tool to optimise 
  • Proactively find innovative ways to improve campaigns’ performance 
  • Liaise with 3rd party providers and partners as well as other departments within the Company 
  • Contribute to team meetings, team initiatives and knowledge sharing 
  • Who we are looking for

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and bright candidate, with a strong passion for all things digital and an analytical mindset who is eager to launch her/his career in media and who is looking to learn the basis of online marketing strategy and execution.

    Passion for digital, good attitude toward challenges, an open mind and an ability to work well with people in an international environment are a must.

    Commercial skills and the ability to deal with external partners will be considered as a plus.


    Desired Skills

  • Previous experience in a media agency would be an advantage but not essential

    The candidate will strategically support the company’s development and provide actionable insights to the Product Management and Digital Marketing teams.


    Responsibilities:

  • Support customer growth by designing and performing ad hoc analyses across business areas from multiple data sources
  • Analyze customer traffic and behavior with a goal of finding ways to optimize and improve user experience and conversions
  • Analytically support A/B testing processes aimed at tactical product evolution
  • Manage and develop existing or new real-time dashboards in order to measure customer value
  • Develop new practices to aid in the growth of data informed strategic developments
  • Present findings to various business stakeholders
  • Participate in and drive the collection of any additional value added data when available
  • Design and implementation of machine learning algorithmes

  • Requirements:
