The Challenge
  • Hire, develop and lead a team of high-performing product owners, delivering a best-in-class product strategy and championing a user centric and data-driven focus across all product verticals
  • Collaborating with our People team, define a talent strategy for product teams across N26, covering recruitment to technical onboarding to talent development with the aim to provide product owners and managers a range of development opportunities
  • Working closely with N26’s Executives, develop a vision and product strategy, taking ownership of translating this into a backlog and manageable targets for your team
  • Build and manage a lean product portfolio driving Hypothesis Driven Development with a technology organisation that can release 100+ times a week.
  • Establish a robust annual budget and enhance all aspects of product management to ensure the product provides delivers to the budget
  • Create and champion a culture of cutting-edge lean/agile product management techniques across N26, motivating, developing and growing your team to continually innovate and create modern frameworks that are unique to us
  • Partner closely with engineering and design leaders to prioritize product development efforts, driving products from assessment to discovery to development

    Once here you will
  • Be involved in everything related to relational (and also NoSQL) databases: design, maintenance, migrations, administration, configuration, etc.
  • Take part in efforts to scale and improve the N26 Data Warehouse
  • Educate developers and engineers about the best practices in clean database design
  • Perform audits of existing databases, figure out possible improvements and ways to implement them efficiently

  • Exceptional knowledge of PostgreSQL (experience with MySQL is a plus).
  • Fluency in at least one scripting language (preferably Python).
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Couchbase, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.) is a plus.

Manage Perfomance

    As a Team Leader at N26 you will be in charge of the operational control of a team of Customer Support Specialists. Working with an international team (supporting our customers in five languages) you will be responsible for the operational delivery of our daily business. You will ensure that our specialists are delivering a best in class service across phone, email and live chat for our customers. Monitoring and analysing data comes naturally to you, and you will use this to inform and guide your management decisions. Whether it's daily, weekly or monthly KPIs you will always know where we stand, and what we need to improve our customer experience.

    What you will bring along
  • You have graduated from a university or completed an apprenticeship successfully
  • You have at least 2 years professional experience in customer service
  • You think entrepreneurially and customer-oriented

  • You love direct contact with customers and focus on customer-oriented solutions
  • You speak fluent English and ideally German, any other major European language is a plus
