We are looking for a Legal Assistant for our Legal Department (working student, legal clerk, paralegal), part-time up to 20 hours/week.

Your tasks 

• Support Babbel's Legal Department, especially by completing administrative tasks
• Research and analyze issues related to general civil law, competition law trademark law, IP law, consumer law, corporate law, and data protection law
• Support in the preparation, implementation and filing of contracts, letters, written pleadings, powers of attorney, processes/guidelines and other legal documents
• Maintain Babbel's legal database and archive
• Plan and prepare internal and external events

Your profile 

• You are a law student and are already at least in your 3rd semester or you are in a comparable education. Alternatively you have already completed an education with a legal background
• Preferably, you have chosen general civil law as your main area of study or interest
• You have strong analytical skills, which allow you to quickly grasp and present legal issues
• You are an independent self-starter, with a high level of commitment and a "hands-on" mentality
• You have excellent German language skills as well as good English and MS Office skills
