In fact, we want to be the absolute and undisputedly best in the world at developing and marketing mobile apps. Our expertise lies in market analysis, product design, software engineering, and data science and analytics, but we suck at mobile marketing. Therefore we’re looking for someone wonderfully talented, experienced, and extremely motivated to help us assemble our mobile marketing team and grow it into the best to be found anywhere. Together, we can conquer the app stores, and beyond.

A few examples of your responsibilities:

  • Help us hire a world-class team for you to lead.
  • Embody our culture of relentless striving for excellence. We want to be the best, and by a distance.
  • Manage our whole advertising budget to maximize profits.
  • Oversee the production of striking creatives for both ASO and our advertising campaigns.
  • Oversee the localization of all of our marketing materials.
  • Oversee our marketing research efforts aimed at deepening our expertise and competitive advantage.
  • Research, define, and teach mobile marketing best practices (tools, processes, and tactics).
  • Tightly collaborate with the product teams to help define the product roadmaps.
  • Make sure everyone in marketing has it ingrained in their mindset to continuously and tirelessly test and optimize.

Commitment & contract

Full-time, permanent (tempo indeterminato).

Location

Milan, Corso Como 15. It’s fine if you prefer to work remotely sometimes. We offer substantial support for relocation, including finding an apartment in Milan and paying the rent for twelve weeks.

What We Look For

  • Passion for the topic. You have a long-standing, proven passion for mobile marketing.
  • Strong industry experience. You have at least three years of top-notch experience with mobile paid user acquisition and ASO.
  • Strong leadership experience. You have a successful track record of having effectively led a sizeable team to significant achievements. 
  • Obsession for monitoring and optimizing. You love to measure stuff numerically, monitor performance, and endlessly, obsessively iterate to improve it.
  • Curiosity and initiative. You love exploring and you’re entrepreneurial in seeking out new opportunities and testing new ideas of your own accord.
  • Drive. You’re energetic, hard-working, and persevere through adversity until the job is done, and done well.
  • Diligence, organization. You can blindly be entrusted with big responsibilities as well as coordinating the complex work of a complex team.
  • Analytical reasoning. You crunch numbers and perform simple calculations with confidence and accuracy. You’re a quick learner and can investigate and effectively pick up new concepts on your own.
  • A keen sense for written communication. You have a good feel for what concise, catchy written communication looks like. Preferably, you can write effective copy in English yourself.
  • A keen sense for visual communication. You can tell the difference between beautiful, modern, striking artwork and more-of-the-same kind of stuff. You can effectively direct a designer in the creation of some of the former.
  • Eagerness to teach. You look forward to taking less experienced, but very talented colleagues under your wing and teaching them what you know.
  • Proficient in English. You read, write, and speak proficiently in English.
