Our dedicated team at BlaBlaCar is building a new application that is going to revolutionize the way people do and think their day to day trips! This is a truly mobile-first project!

To fulfill this ambition, you will join a small dedicated agile cross-skills team, operating as a mini-startup within BlaBlaCar. The team is comprised of great profiles with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

What you will contribute to:

• Work closely with the Product lead, UX lead, Android engineer and 2 software engineers to build the best and smoothest experience for our users;

• Build from scratch the iOS app;

• Share your knowledge of iOS guidelines and best practices with the UX lead;

• Build a very smart and battery efficient geo-tracking (foreground and background) app;

• Work with our RESTful API and Web Socket infrastructure to dispatch and receive new geolocation events in real-time.
