You will work as a (Junior) Manager Network Planning Italy (m/f/d) in a self-organized, cross-functional team. The mission of the team is to optimize the schedules, cycles and shift schedules of our lines to deliver a great product to our customer, always basing your decisions on quantitative analyses.
As part of your daily work, you work closely with your fellow team members, for example pricing & yield managers.
• You plan our FlixBus bus lines in collaboration with our business partners, pricing & yield managers, and our experienced Berlin team to develop and optimize our national network in Italy
• You coordinate the interactions on your allocated line portfolio with the other teams to ensure smooth processes (authorizations, line starts, operational requests)
• You base your decisions on quantitative analyses and derive conclusions and observations from the variety of sets of data to make informed decisions
• You present ideas as well as figures in informative and relevant form to update your team members
• You communicate with our business partners to handle our operative demands • You have a good academic degree in transportation management, geography, spatial planning, transportation engineering, economics, or related field of study
• You are a skilled user (m/f/d) of the MS-Office programs
• Knowledge of the Italy territories and the Italy transport markets is a plus
• Strong analysis and modelling abilities to solve complex problems in a rational way
• You are organized and autonomous
• You have a team oriented working style
• You are a travel enthusiast with the special focus on customer needs
• You are enthusiastic, ready for action and you show personal initiative
• Fluent in English, every other language (especially Italian) is a plus
