We are searching for a working student to strengthen our People Operations Team in Berlin. We’d like you to stay at least 12 months with us, starting in May 2024.

As a working student in our team, you will be a part of the global People Operations Team that focuses on creating meaningful employee journeys. You will be working closely with HR Managers and have full ownership from the beginning. You will also get the opportunity to initiate and implement your own projects. Our team’s mission is to provide the best experience for our employees by ensuring smooth processes across the employee lifecycle. We cover a broad variety of topics such as administration & compliance, as well as employee well-being.

• Support the People Operations Team with topics throughout the employee life cycle, including onboarding, payroll preparation, benefits, and offboarding
• Provide hands-on support with operational HR topics and get a good overview of the role of a People Operations Specialist 
• Assist the team in administration and maintenance of employee files, documents, and contracts
• Use our HR systems to create reports and support the team to guarantee high quality and consistency in our data 
• Answer HR-related questions from employees through various channels (JIRA tickets, in-person, calls) 
• Support with process optimization projects aimed at making our work more efficient
• Support and lead various projects in different areas such as onboarding, pension scheme, process optimization, or others based on your experience and interest 
• Collaborate closely with neighboring functions such as Payroll, HR Business Partners, People Systems, Talent Development, and Talent Acquisition to provide an unforgettable employee experience

• Student in a Bachelors or Masters Programme 
• You are available for at least 12 months for this role
• Ideally, you’ve gained your first work experience in a similar field 
• You work independently and are detail-oriented 
• You have a passion for people, systems and numbers
• You have excellent English skills, German would be a plus
