Houzz is looking for friendly, goal-oriented individuals to join our E-Commerce Customer Experience Team. As a Customer Experience Coordinator, you will ensure Houzz Shop customers in the UK have a great experience on the Houzz website.
The ideal candidate for this position is an excellent problem solver and communicator who loves supporting others while operating in a dynamic environment where challenging and improving existing processes through critical thinking is a must. This person remains calm under pressure, has excellent prioritisation skills and can convert challenging situations into positive experiences while working closely with internal teams, vendors, and our customers. They also should be very understanding and truly passionate about helping customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Answer inbound customer service phone calls to resolve issues regarding orders placed on the Houzz Marketplace
  • Use consultative sales approach to help inbound customers make purchasing decisions and upsell products on the website
  • Work with vendors and manufacturers to answer product questionsRespond to Houzz customers and vendors in order to resolve issues regarding orders placed on Houzz
  • Work with both vendors and Houzz Account Managers to improve vendor performance and ensure an exceptional buying experience
  • Achieve monthly customer satisfaction targets and other related metrics
  • Provide superior customer service, contribute to a positive work environment, and embody the Houzz culture
  • Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer support or client facing roles (ideally in tech or e-commerce)
  • Native level English plus fluency in at least one of the following: German, French, Italian, Spanish is an added advantage.
  • Undergraduate degree or higher qualification
  • Superior customer service skills and customer-centric mentality
  • Excellent written and oral communication skillsStrong computer skills (knowledge of Excel and Salesforce is a plus)
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to maintain a long-term, broader vision while facing short-term, daily tasks
  • Team oriented, proactive, professional, focused and positive
  • Enthusiasm about change and eagerness to work in a very dynamic startup environmen
