Our Finance Team Makes Things Happen
Our Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst will be detailed-oriented, versatile and hands-on, helping to support Houzz’ rapid growth. This position is responsible for analyzing new business initiatives, make analytical judgments, and provide data intensive analyses to drive meaningful change. What You’ll Do
  • Support all corporate FP&A efforts and influence business decisions that drive revenue and profit
  • Provide analytical and data-driven decision-making support for all assigned projects
  • Build complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance, including short and long range financial/operational forecasts, and communicating results to senior management
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial closes
  • Work with business team leaders to track and manage expenses against budget
  • At a Minimum, We’d Like You To Have…
  • Undergraduate degree in Business/Finance/Economics or other quantitative discipline with excellent academic background and strong cognitive ability
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant financial experience
  • Experience in investment banking or management consulting highly preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Demonstrate analytical prowess, strategic thinking and a command of the details
  • Precision and detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Be innovative, resourceful, trustworthy and confidential
  • Ideally, You’ll Also Have…
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights, Tableau, SQL
  • Ability to continually adapt and learn a great amount in a short time
  • Positive, energetic, optimistic attitude, not afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Team player, strong interpersonal skills including conscientiousness, diplomacy, flexibility, dependability, and, last but not least, a good sense of humor
