Our Sales Planning Team Makes Things Happen
Houzz is looking for a talented individual to join our Sales Planning team. This person ​has exceptional communication skills and the ability to quickly establish rapport with all levels of internal staff. You are detail-oriented, have exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task. 
The ideal candidate enjoy​s​ working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and thrive​s​ on finding solutions to daily challenges. This individual is analytical, detail-oriented and has exceptional problem solving skills. We are looking for someone who loves working with data and uncovering the stories it tells. 
You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to drive processes to support the strategic direction of the Sales teams. As a subject-matter expert, your strong analytical experience will help as you work with stakeholders to define and establish quality rules and definitions consistent with departmental and organizational strategies.
What You’ll Do
  • Establishing a framework of role-based metrics design to further the ability to measure, understand, compare and predict changes in productivity or required changes in capacity levels across the Sales organization.
  • Enabling senior management decision making for capacity-based staffing levels, role evolution and efficiency levels using the models developed.
  • Contributing to other departmental metrics, scorecards and business analysis as needed.
  • Partnering with Sales Operations, Sales, Finance and other groups to as needed to integrate capacity and productivity measures into the planning cycle and during key business reviews.
  • Perform sales and cost analysis for the Sales department.
  • Comparing monthly sales actuals to the sales goals and budget, identifying all variances.
  • Responsible for evaluating and assessing the variances for Sales Representatives, identifying trends.
  • At a Minimum, We’d Like You To Have…
  • 10+ year prior experience in a similar role is required
  • Strong technical and analytical skills and the ability to integrate and summarize large amounts of data from multiple databases or systems, leverage technology to continuously improve methods of data gathering and analysis
  • Expert level knowledge of EXCEL
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ideally, You’ll Also Have…
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills will allow him or her to work successfully in a team environment
  • Ability to take a complicated subject, quickly identify the areas that need to be addressed and then present findings in a concise manner
  • Must have very strong organizational, writing, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Desire to work and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving industry
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of private and sensitive information, records and reports
