Trade Marketing Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Trade Marketing Specialist to work across our EMEA region.

The position is based in Milan.

He/she will be a vital link between sales and marketing, supporting business growth through the development of customized projects based on assigned markets, key customers and specific product launches.

Main Responsibilities



• Business development through the study and the implementation of Trade Marketing projects focused on key retailers across EMEA in collaboration with sales department and distributors; 
• Data analysis, product positioning and assortment, based on sell-in / sell-out and other key indicators; 
• Development of commercial plans to support existing and new product offer (includes but no limited to SiS, dedicated areas, assortment proposal and merchandising guidelines in order to increase sales performance on assigned doors / retailers); 
• Define a visibility plan for each project where applicable (in-store communication, merchandising, promotional activity, events); 
• Work closely with sales, marketing, visual internally. Build relationship with distributors, retailer’s buying and marketing department in order to strengthen brand presence and build successful projects; 
• Work closely with Visual Merchandising in the development of new display solutions, related to product launches, retailer or new distribution channels; 
• Monitor and forecast of assigned Trade Marketing budget; 
• Support requests of trade marketing analysis from company when required; 
• Travel frequently across EMEA to meet distributors, customers and attend trade shows.

Skill Requirements



• 3+ years of experience in a similar role; 
• Fluent in English (other European language is a strong plus); 
• Excellent knowledge of Excel (Pivot, Macro Database); 
• Highly analytical: emphasis on numerical and statistical analysis; 
• Confident in meeting clients, presenting own analysis and projects together with sales department; 
• Willing to travel.
