Interim Financial Accountant (14-16 months starting April 2019)

Our finance team’s role is to make sure the business stays financially sustainable, which further ensures our team has the opportunity to make great games for the years to come. We are looking for an experienced financial accountant to join our team and support this mission for a period of 14 months. As a team, we are constantly looking for smarter, more adaptable ways of working to support business needs. • You will be a key member of Wooga's accounting team, including managing our accounts payables processes and supporting in various reporting and analysis tasks
• You will participate in month-end closing activities and look for ways to apply your experience to ensure we continue improving and developing processes
• Using Excel-based analysis from accounting data, you will provide the management team with financial insight and decision-making information
• You will help align and improve our accounting system to ensure it best reflects the organization's structure
• You will use your experience to develop meaningful ideas to implement new business procedures
• You will help with preparing our monthly payroll files for our external payroll provider
• You will work closely together with the Head of Finance to best support the goals of the finance team

• You are an accountant with commercial education and 3+ years of professional experience in financial accounting
• You have a full understanding of the requirements of local and international GAAP,  tax regulations are a nice plus
• You are fluent in English and German language; English is our office language, but due to job requirements, German fluency is required
• You are proactive: you independently take over tasks and contribute ideas to find solutions for individual problems
