Motion Designer (3-months freelance contract on-site in Berlin)

As a Motion Graphics Designer at Wooga, you breathe life into visual assets. With love for beautiful animations, you will be working hand in hand with the design and illustration teams, aiding with the creation of assets, bringing them to life and delivering high-quality and innovative marketing content.

This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgment, a great eye for detail and a passion for timing.  

You will be an integral part of every stage in the creative process, from conceptualization to the final asset delivery.

Note: This is a 3-month freelance contract on site, in Berlin. 

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Creating beautiful and thoughtful animations for a diverse array of media, including smartphones, tablets, and the web,
• Working closely with illustrators, designers and marketers to understand the project scope and objectives.
• Preparing conceptual layouts for the motion graphics project.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
• Assisting in the creation of animation storyboards,
• Assist in selecting appropriate audio, graphics and animation styles for the project.
• Encoding, converting, and editing videos as well as adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics,
• Supporting the design and illustration teams with photo editing, bespoke illustration and icon design.

About you

• Strong knowledge of the mobile game market,
• Extensive graphic design experience, including video production, design, and animation,
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-end digital design skills,
• Experience and skills in: Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Video editing, Audio editing,
• Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a consistent style,
• Ability to solve an array of challenges through visual design, and to mediate creative challenges to arrive at the best solution,
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as with diverse stakeholders.
